Testosterone replacement therapy is prescribed medicine for men whose testosterone is measurably low, confirmed by blood testing rather than by symptoms alone. It is delivered as injections, pellets, creams or oral formulations, depending on the clinic and the prescriber.
The reason this page exists is that the market around it is confusing. The same search returns national telehealth brands, storefront men's clinics, med spas, and directories that infer coverage from a postcode. Our rule is narrow: a clinic appears on a city page only when its own website publishes a street address in that city.

Most clinics in this market are cash-pay and price by month. Very few publish a figure anywhere on their own site. Of the 20 cities we have verified, 1 has a clinic that publishes a price we could read at source.
Where a clinic publishes nothing, our city pages show nothing. We do not carry a figure across from another city, another clinic or a national average to fill the column — an inherited price is a guess wearing a number, and it is the single easiest way for a directory to look more useful than it is.

Two national franchises account for most of the footprint, which means the brochure text on their city pages is close to identical. What genuinely differs is the clinic record — address, local number, opening hours, and which neighbourhoods each one names.
That is why our city pages lead with those fields rather than with prose. A page that reads differently but contains the same facts has not told you anything.

- Is testosterone therapy legal in the US?
- Yes, with a prescription. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance under the federal Controlled Substances Act, so it cannot be sold over the counter and a licensed prescriber has to be involved. What varies by state is how the prescribing relationship may be formed — whether it can start over video, and what has to be documented first.
- Can you start TRT online?
- In most of the states we cover, the relationship can begin by telehealth. Federal telemedicine flexibilities currently let a DEA-registered prescriber issue a Schedule III prescription without a prior in-person medical evaluation, and those are set to run to 2026-12-31. State rules sit on top of that and differ — some are explicit that a questionnaire on its own is not an acceptable basis for a prescription.
- Do you need bloodwork before testosterone therapy?
